Sire Line

Almox Prints

Almox Prints competed with two different riders at the Olympic games of Soul 1988 and Barcelona 1992 he won numerous Nation Cups and the Grand Prix of Wiesbaden and Rotterdam.

Almox Prints J. is a direct descendant of a well-known Trakehner mare line. His great-grandam Corinna 7 (by Ararad) produced the tap-root mare Corrida (by Bussard) who was rescued to West Germany. The famous C line produced a number of top sires as e.g. Consul, Couleur Furst, the sire of showjumpers Caanitz, Corvin, Chardonnay and Cornus. The advanced dressage horse and federal champion Corna originates from this family. On his dam's side Almox Prints J. has the famous Pilgrim (by Pythagoras), sire of the Olympic dressage horse Pepel. Prints' sire Hockey is one of the top sires of the state-owned Trakehner stud of Kirow as well as the Arabian Priboj ox, the grandsire of Hockey. Almox Prints J.'s transmission is no secret in Russia. His offspring attracted attention in showjumping competitions in Russia and Hungary. E. Gundel had a successful international showjumper sired by Prints, and there are excellent Trakehner broodmares by Prints in Russia.

He belongs to the most successful Stallions ever competed in international show jumping ever.

Zeus

Zues' sire Arlequin x is a French Anglo-Arabian who has distinguished himself in the sport horse breed (Selle Francais) by siring good jumpers and eventers. At the French National Stud he is still highly popular today through his son Mister Charrier x as well as his grandson Kapoc (SF). His dam's sire Matador x maintains a stallion line over Unicol'Or x-Vidoc x that is represented in Germany by e.g. Veritas x (Oldenburg, Westphalia). Talisman in the third generation is also the dam's sire of the legendary Furioso II and of Mexico (France).

In 1979 as the first Zeus off-spring were put under saddle it became quite obvious: All of them could jump. In 1981 as the first 5-year olds were shown in jumping, Zeus took over the lead of his age group in the FN Breeding Year Book and has not been displaced since. Over 1.2 million DM winnings are listed under his name - and his off-spring continue to win. In 1992 28 % of his placed off-spring achieved winnings of over 1,000 DM - which must be a record. Meanwhile Zenom successfully competed in Grand Prix St. Georges classes. But Zeus sired excellent broodmares and stallions: Zymbal was the main premium winner in 1986 and DLG stallion in Hanover, Chinchilla was the Oldenburg champion mare in 1981, won her age class at the Federal Show in Verden in 1983 and DLG mare in 1982 (I-a premium), 1984 and 1986. At the 1992 Oldenburg approval Zeus presented the reserve champion and the second reserve champion of young stallions.
