Description

Due to overwhelming German demand, Lancelot was leased to the German State Stud in Moritzburg to help enhance the German bloodlines. Lancelot was the most popular stallion at the German State Stud in 2006 and he covered over one hundred German mares in his first season.

Lancelot is Premium Graded (Munich 2005) and he was the Reserve Champion in his 30 day test at Moritzburg. A Lancelot foal was the second highest priced foal at the Southern German Elite Auction 2007, second only to a Quainton Stud stallion Chateau de Brion.

Lancelot is Premium Graded and 70 day tested.

Lancelot's performances are foot perfect in dressage and show jumping, he has performed at numerous German Stallion shows and he has behaved brilliantly, never failing to wow the crowd.

Lansing (Lancelot's Sire) was a National Champion as a five year old and is half brother to Foundation, sire to Cantus. The strain 18b1 is one of the best strains of Holstein and probably the best strain in producing sires such as Constant (sire of Chin Chin and Farn). Lancelot also has some of the best dam lines in the world.

At the Holstein auction in 2006 the highest priced four year old stallion was sired by Lancing and the third highest price paid for a 4 year old again was sired by Lancing.
