Chadron is 70 day tested, Marbach 2005, were he was the Reserve Champion with a test score of an incredible 123 and he was also awarded the highest score for free-jumping.

Chadron's Sire, Coriano is renowned for producing trainable, dual purpose stock that have excelled at show jumping and dressage. Chadron and his progeny are no exception!

The Stamm line 1916 is very interesting and has within it International dressage horse Antoinette who was ridden by Dr Josef Neckermann. Chadron Quainton has in his bloodlines (within his third generation) Cor de la Bryere, the importance of this blood is that it has the ability to produce dressage horses as well as show jumping and eventing horses.

Sire Line

Coriano

Coriano descends from the world famous progenitor Corrado I out of the influential mare Option (Lord x Ramiro Z, Holsteiner lineage 318d2) who we also know as grandam of the stallions Corofino I-II (Corrado I) and the international show jumping horse Cabrio (Corrado I) under Toni Haßmann. The impressive stallion Diarado (Diamant de Semilly), champion of the Holsteiner stallion selection of last year, is also a product of Option. Coriano completed his stallion performance test with a rating of class 1, having achieved many scores of ten for character, performance ability and predisposition for jumping. He won classes at all levels in Germany and as a 6 year old was champion of the Federal German Riding horse championships. He went to international success under Bo Kristoffersen and won the CSIO in Sweden in 1997. Coriano is famous for producing easily trainable horses and his stock fetch top prices at most auctions. Owned by the Holsteiner Verband, Coriano is now leased to studbook Zangersheide and is their most important and accomplished sire. The fact that Coriano Z passes on his show jumping qualities to his offspring is demonstrated by a large number of products from his first breeding seasons who are now performing at international level, such as Curtis (Piet Raymakers), Cargho (Felix Hassmann), Joy FPG (Peter Wylde), Condios (Dermot Lennon) and Cyrano de Bergerac (Franke Sloothaak).

Corrado I

Numerous Corrado I sons have thus far been approved and are actively performing stud duty in different German breeding regions. Corrado's progeny have established themselves well in the show jumping sport.

Lord

Origin: Ladykiller xx was a shooting star right from the start of his stud career. His first crop had brought 8 approved stallions, including Landgraf I. His second crop included the eager winner of the stallion approval Lord and the third crop included Boy, who later on won the German Showjumping Derby (E. Macken). Lord's dam-sire Cottage Son xx sired quite a number of very successful competition horses in only 5 seasons (i.a. Colibri, Cortina, Cottage Incident. The most outstanding product of this sire line is Granat by Consul (best dressage horse of the world in the seventies, Chr. Stiickelberger, Switzerland). It is still very prolific mainly via the great-grandson Capitol, but the best Cottage Son left are probably his daughters: Two of them produced Ramiro and Lord.

As he was not very much made use of as a sire in the beginning, he also successfully competed in showjumping competitions. However, his first crop brought the international showjumper Livius, who won the German Showjumping Derby under P. Luther and a team medal at the European Championships in 1981, the World Championships in 1982 and the 1984 Olympics. He was followed by the very able Lugana (K. Huck), the very successful Lafayette (H. Schmidt) and Pedro (Th. Friihmann), who competed in the World Championships in Dublin in 1982. Of his younger progeny the approved stallion Lord Incipit (Th. Luther), Lyra (H. Luther) and Tovia (A. von Buchwaldt) cause a stir today. In 1984 Lake Placid caused a sensation when he was sold for the top price of 180,000 DM through the Holstein auction. Literat and Lavallo won the stallion approval. In 1987 his daughter Wiebke was champion mare in Elmshorn.

Ramiro

Ramiro is one of the foundation Sires with a worldwide reputation. One of his very best sport-horse offspring was Ratina Z who competed twice at the Olympic Games with Ludgar Beerbaum and Piet Raymakers. Stallion sons of Ramiro include Rasso, Romino B, Ronald, Rollando, Ritual B, Ramiro Son, Rebot, Rebel Z 1,2,3. Raphael Oldenburg sport horses in 1972, 1973 Monsum and Mario in 1976.

Dam Line

Landgraf I

Landgraf I, was a prize-money millionaire and at the same time a legendary breeding stallion. He is today considered as the world's best jumper sire of all times. From todays point of view, the damsire, Landgraf I, is the most successful sire of show jumpers of all times. His best-known offspring include Taggi/Soren von Ronne, the licensed Libero H/Jos Lansink (1994 World Cup Champion), Leandra and Lucky Luke/Otto Becker, Lovely Boy/Norbert Koof, Lagretto/Carsten-Otto Nagel, Lassandro/Soren von Rb'nne, Landega/Helena Weinberg and many others, who have won over 4.4 million Euros up to now. Landgraf I sired more than 100 stallion sons.

Cor de la Bryere

Cor de la Bryere became a very versatile sire and year after year he sires first-class riding horses for all disciplines: e.g. the international showjumpers Calando (E.H. Cuepper/Belgium), Caletto (M. Riiping), Chanel (J. Miinzner) and Chica W (H.H. Engemann), the eventer Contrast ridden by H. B locker, and the dressage horse Corlandus (European champion 1987, silver medalist Olympic Games 1988) ridden by M. Otto-Crepin. Worth mentioning of "Corde's" over 50 state premium mares are the champion mares Chanel and Cordeka, who both became very successful competition horses. Among his over 40 approved sons there are such top sires as e.g. Caletto II or Calypso I. Without any doubt Cor de la Bryere deserves the title of foundation sire! Cor de la Bryere almost completely dominated Holstein performance horse breeding for a considerable period of time. One of his greatest representatives in competition sport was, the internationally highly successful dressage horse Corlandus (M. Otto-Crepin). His stallion sons Calypso I and II as well as Caletto I and II are among the top contemporary sires.
