Arpeggio
Arpeggio the stallion performance test winner and federal vice-champion Accord II was in heavy demand by breeders from all over the country and from neighboring countries. Numerous approved sons resulted from the first few covering years including the champion stallions of the Hessian stallion approvals and the ZfDP 1996. Araconit who is at stud in Baden-Wiirttemberg, won the Holstein State Riding Horse Championship in Bad Segeberg in 1996 and became federal vice-champion in 1998. Arpeggio's dam, the state premium mare Perle is a highly successful show jumper up to intermediate-A class. This mare with her strong paces received a score of 9.0 in free jumping in her field test. The dam sire Power was also a successful Show jumper. Schoning, who followed after this, was the stallion performance test winner of his age-class. The maternal line flows into a Hanoverian dynasty in the region of the traditional Sudweyhe station, which is based on the mare Axtsilber (by Axtmann I-Spee II - Allwetter). This line also brought forth the hereditary transmitters Adjutant (private stallion Hanover, Bavaria ), Fidux (private stallion Westphalia), Assuan (private stallion East Friesland), Romeo (private stallion Baden- Wiirttemberg) and Ganymed (private stallion Rhineland).
Arpeggio was vice-champion of the 1997 NRW national approval in Miinster-Handorf.
The progeny from his first crops of foals are pleasing because of their conformation and nimble motions. A number of foals were presented at the N.R.W. foal auction.
Accord II
Accord II easily won his performance test in 1991, scoring 9.5 to 10 for show jumping, and 9 to 9.67 for ride ability. His overall score was 146.04 scoring 138.26 in dressage and 148.47 in jumping.
He went on to the 1992 Bundeschampionate in Verden where he was reserve champion behind Frankie Sloothaak and the Caletto I son, Calero.

Another stallion son to shine with Kirchhoff is Action Hero - like Atlantic, he is based in Holland. In Germany his stallion sons are Acorado, Antaeus, Alboretto, Ars Vivendi, All in One and As di Villagana.
Accord II was another stallion discovered by master stallion master, Maas J. Hell and he has stood at the Stall Hell from 1992 to this day, standing jointly with the State Stud Celle from 1994 onwards.
In 1992, five sons of the Zangersheide stallion, Ahorn Z (not to be confused with Weipke van der Lageweg’s Ahorn by Nimmerdor) qualified for the Bundeschampionate. Accord II followed in the distinguished footsteps of his older brother, Accord I, who was an International show jumper in The Netherlands before being sold to the USA. His younger brother, Accord III was the champion stallion in Brazil.
Accord II continued to compete up to Advanced level for winnings of Euro 4,029, however his progeny have won over a quarter of a million euros, with 327 jumpers who have placed in competition, and 47 dressage horses. As of 2003, Accord II has an FN jumping ranking of 143, as against his dressage ranking of 106. The Hanoverian Stallion book for 2003 records that on the basis of mare tests and auction evaluations, he has a dressage score of 99 but a jumping score of 149 – with a negative trot score of 86, but a positive canter score of 129. Accord II is out of Ribecka, who was a champion mare in Holstein. Mandarin in the fourth line of her pedigree is out of Holle, who was also the grand-dam of Ramiro. Mandarin’s daughter Urbine is the grand-dam of the international jumper and supersire, Burggraaf. On the other side, the line travels to that hugely influential Thoroughbred, Ladykiller, through his son Lancaster, who also carried the blood of the anglo arab, Ramzes and was himself a show jumping competitor. Ribecka was by one of the most influential sons of Cor de la Bryère, Calypso I.
Ahorn Z is Zangersheide through-and-through being out of THE foundation mare of the stud, the legendary Heureka. Stud principal, Leon Melchior purchased the mare from German show jumping champion, Hermann Schridde (1964 Tokyo Olympic reserve-champion and 1965 European Champion) just after he and Heureka won the 1970 Aachen Grand Prix. She was bred to the stallion Melchior ‘pinched’ from France, the great Almé to produce Ahorn Z. Acord II has produced more than 40 stallion sons, one of the more famous is Broere VDL Atlantic, who was the Six Year Old Jumping Champion at the 1999 Bundeschampionate with Ulrich Kirchhoff. Another stallion son to shine with Kirchhoff is Action Hero - like Atlantic, he is based in Holland. Dam Line
Weinberg
Origin: Due to a severe accident Weinberg's sire Weinhang had to finish his stud career after only five seasons. Nevertheless he proved to be an important sire in Westphalian riding horse breeding as two celebrities of the traditional covering station Badbergen (Weingau and Abhang I) are his direct ancestors. Weingau left many first-class sport horses and above all the top sire Watzmann. Weinhang left the international top showjumper Woodstock, who has successfully competed under the US rider S. Hutchinson for many years. Weinberg's dam Kana successfully competed up to medium showjumping competitions. In Kana's dam line there is the Wohler son Wunsch II, the sire of Harry Boldt's Olympic dressage horse Woyceck.
Breeding record: Weinberg was approved in 1979 and bought by the Northern-Rhine-Westphalian State Stud in Warendorf. In 1980 Weinberg had his first season at stud in Westphalia. Goldstern (K. Balkenhol), who won the team gold medal for Germany in Barcelona, is from his first crop. Klaus Balkenhol and Goldstern also won the individual bronze medal. Being sold through the Westphalian stallion sales Goldstern and his rider were the German champions in 1991 and 1992. In 1991 they had their debut at an international show. In Donaueschingen they won team gold and individual silver (freestyle). But Goldstern is not the only successful descendant. In 1992 Weinberg's daughter Wempe Juwel, who was sold through a Westphalian foal auction, was the most successful 7-year-old dressage horse in Germany. Ridden by Udo Lange she won Grand Prix dressage test. Weinberg is one of the stallions who are able to present first-class competition horses in both disciplines, dressage and showjumping. His most successful showjumper is Kurt Gravemeier's Wum. In 1991 they won the "GroBer Preis der Bundesrepublik Deutschland" (= Grand Prix of the Federal Republic of Germany) in the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund. Wisby D, who is aged 9 in 1993, is ridden by Ulrich Meyer zu Bexten. Andrea Fuchs from Switzerland and Warlock by Weinberg achieved many international top placings. Weinberg was among the 10 leading sires in Germany according to progeny winnings.
Pilot
Pilot (1974-1991) had an incomparable career as a sire of show jumpers and was the young progeny winnings millionaire among the German fraternity of sires of the day. The current flagship of Pilot's enormous show jumping armada must certainly be the chestnut P.S. Priamos, who became team world champion under Dirk Hafemei in The Hague in 1994 and in 1998 won world championship team gold with Ludger Beerbaum. Then there is the approved Po ridden by Otto Becker, who was the most successful Pilot progeny in competition sport in 1995. Pilot's breeding influence g far beyond the borders of Westphalia. Almost all the German warm blood breeds are making use of his genotype. Pilot became the youngest German sire to become a millionaire regarding his offspring's earnings. His currently best-known daughter is Isovlas Pialotta, who came fourth under Edwina Alexander/AUS at the World Championships in Aachen.
