International Combination of the Year Award

Ben Maher and Triple X have been nominated for the International Combination of the Year Award by British Showjumping. This follows the pairs successess in 2012, playing an important part in GB's team bronze at the European Championships as well as the team 2nd in Rotterdam.

Tackeray and Ben Maher

Tackeray and Ben Maher competed in Oslo, Norway this weekend where they had a very good third place in the 1.50m class. Tackeray is showing he can hold his own at top level competition.

Chateau de Brion

Chloe Aston is going very well with new ride Chateau de Brion. In the past few weeks he has won two Puissance classes, jumping 2.10m in Dunkerque where he was also second in the Accumulator class. The partnership seems to be going from strength to strength.

Ben Maher and Triple X III part of Bronze medal winning team in Madrid

Ben Maher with his and Quainton Stud's Triple X III, along with John Whitaker, Nick Skelton and Guy Williams won Team Bronze at the European Championships in Madrid. Ben also finished a very respectable 12th place individually.

This is Triple X' first year of international competition; in the past few weeks he has proven his ability and consistancy at top level events.

At just nine years old Triple X was one of the youngest horses at the championships. He showed his class and proved he is a championship horse and one to keep watching.

We are looking forward to seeing what 2012 brings.

Triple X rated horse to show there is neigh better

A HORSE from Quainton has been selected to represent Britain in the European Showjumping Championships.

Having performed well at the recent Nations Cup in Rotterdam, in which Britain finished second, Triple X and rider Ben Maher were chosen to compete in the prestigious competition in Spain.

The stallion is co-owned by Ben and the Quainton Stud Centre.

Mike and Emma Phillips have run Quainton Stud since 2004 and are hopeful Triple X could feature at the London 2012 Olympics...

Tripple X III and Ben Maher Picked for Squad competing at the European Championships

Ben Maher with his and Quainton Stud's Tripple X III have been selected for the squad heading to the European Championships in Madrid September 13th - 18th. Tripple X is a nine year old black stallion who is really making his mark on the international showjumping circuit.

He will be standing at Quainton Stud in 2012.

Tripple X jumps double clear in Rotterdam

Ben Maher had a succesful trip to Rotterdam with Quainton Stud horses Tackeray and Tripple X. Tackeray finished fourth in the Winning Round, while Ben and Tripple X jumped double clear for the British Team which finished second in the Nations Cup.
