Wonderboy Third In Lyon World Cup

Wonderboy III, the ten year-old Belgian bred grey gelding owned by Quainton Stud and Ben Maher, finished in third place in the FEI World Cup Qualifier in Lyon at the weekend.

Jumping one of seven double clears of the competition, the combination finished just over half a second behind the eventual victor, Switzerland’s Beat Mandli. The Netherlands’Albert Zoer took the runner-up spot.

Wonderboy was also awarded as the Leading Horse of the Show. Which iis no small feat considering the notorous combinations that were also competing at the show!
