Quainton Show Takes Off!
Due to fantastic demand the Quainton Stud Grand Prix show is now being held over two days, Monday 30th and Tuesday 31st July. All affiliated riders are welcome to compete with classes starting with Newcomers up to 1.30m on Monday 30th July.
The action on Tuesday 31st July will kick off with the 1.30m Open with £500 to the winner followed by what is set to be a thrilling Speed Trial before the Country’s finest battle for the £5000 first prize in the Quainton Stud Grand Prix.
Prize money goes to eighth place in all classes and all jumping will take place on the Stud’s Charles Britton surfaces.
TV crews will be on site to record the action for Horse and Country TV who are producing a documentary style programme showing excitement from the showjumping and a look behind the scenes at the stud and the show.
Visitors have their own chance to tour the stud with Stud Manager Vanessa Wright at 2.30pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm on Tuesday afternoon, 31st July. Plus, all the Quainton stallions can be seen on parade during a lunch break on the Tuesday. With several of their stallions leased to the German State Stud this season, this is a unique opportunity to catch all of them in the UK.
Admittance is completely free for spectators on 30th July or just £10 per car on Tuesday, with no limit to the number of occupants.
