Quainton Stud ‘Origins’ Young Horse Show On Horse & Country TV

Horse and country TV

Quainton Stud held the ‘Origins’ Young Horse Show and this year Horse & Country TV were there to capture the action.

With young up and coming horses of the future in mind the show held the five, six and seven year old qualifiers for the World Breeding Championships 2008, and the Lanaken and HOYS Grade C Championship Qualifier.

Supported by Astwood Equine Osteopaths the show held at Quainton Stud, Lower Denham Farm, Quainton on 19th - 22nd May 2008, saw four days of action from the showjumping arena.

Unlike ordinary affiliated showjumping, classes were judged by three judges. Marks out of 100 were given to each horse and rider combination on rideability and jumping technique.

With up to four classes per day and a stallion parade there will be plenty of action to watch on the Horse & Country TV coverage.

Said Nick Ludlow of Horse & Country TV: “The event is proving to be hugely popular and there was plenty of action. We were delighted to be filming at the event and to be able to bring viewers at home this exciting equestrian sport.”
