Quainton Stud at HOYS
Quainton Stud will be at the Horse Of the Year Show from the 3rd – 7th of October 2007 at the NEC in Birmingham. You will find us in the Retail Village stand R3C, where we will be happy to help you select the perfect stallion for your mare or assist you with any enquiries you may have in regards to your mare, stallion or young stock needs.
Clients can take advantage of our 20% off show vouchers on any orders taken for the 2008 breeding season.
For the younger show jumper there will be a chance to meet Ben Maher, who will be available for autograph signing at regular intervals.

State Stud Document Their Trip to Quainton

The German State Stud have documented their trip to Quainton Stud's Grand Prix Show in July. The official magazine that will be published in September 2007 will feature the German States Stud's story about bringing the Quainton stallions home to Quainton for the show, it will document the journey and how they participated in the stallion parade. The story will also feature the success of the Quainton foals that were so successful at the recent foal auctions.

Lucerene Quainton's Foal Wins First Prize

Lucerene Quainton's colt foal 'Landguard' born in Norway and bred by Isobel Kvaavik has won first prize in a foal show and qualified for the Norwegien Championships.
The judges comments were "harmonic and well expressioned foal with very good balance and canter.

Quainton Foals Top German Auction
A Chateau de Brion Quainton foal at the Southern German Elite Auction has just reached an incredible price of 21,000, making it the highest priced foal purchased at the auction. Chateau de Brion has produced some stunning foals this season and this young star is obviously demonstrating his Sires impressive qualities already. The second most expensive foal at the Southern German Elite Auction auction was another offspring of a Quainton stallion, Lancelot Quainton. The colt sired by Lancelot Quainton reached a substantial price of 18,000 at the German auction. Quainton Stud Grand Prix Show receives great reviews
The first Quainton Stud Grand Prix show recieved excellent reviews. Suzanne Jones from Horse & Hound (issue 9th August 2007) reviewed the great success of the show, detailing all the exciting events. Chiltern & Thames (issue 181 - 8th august - 4th September 2007) also featured a double page spread on the huge success of Quainton Studs debut show.
