UK Stallion Licensed to Holsteiner Verband Chateau De Brion
Chateau de Brion has TODAY (18/04/07) been licenced by Holsteiner Verband as a registered and approved Holstein stallion. Quainton Stud, presented Chateau de Brion, a young stallion, to Holsteiner Verband in Germany on the 17-18th April '07. After serious scrutiny and assessment he was selected as one of only seven stallions to be approved and licenced as a true stallion of the Holstein breed. Chateau de Brion was the only British owned stallion approved and it is very rare for a British stud to be able to get their stallion graded at Holsteiner Verband and to become Holsteiner Verband approved is an incredible achievement and honour. Ben Maher, who trains and competes Chateau de Brion, presented the stallion on behalf of Quainton Stud. The approved and licenced Holstein stallion will now return to Ben's yard to continue his training as an International showjumper while remaining available for stud services.
