Sire Line

Cardino

Cardino is a very popular horse in Germany (2005) His sire Cathago Z began his career at the Holstein Association before becoming a successful member of the Dutch Nation’s Cup team with Jos Lansink. The dam, state premium mare Alaska II already produced two state premium mares and one Association premium mare, as well as the mare Lorca (by Lord Calando), who is a successful advanced class dressage horse. The dam-sire Landgraf I left his imprint in the annals of the breeding of show jumpers like probably no other stallion before him. This is evidenced alone by the life winnings sum of his progeny that goes into millions, by 130 approved sons and 90 state premium daughters. Just a few sports highlights of his offspring include his approved son Libero H, who won the World cup Show jumping finals in’s hertogenbosch with Jos Lansink in 1994, his daughter Taggi, who won team gold and individual bronze at the 2000 World Championship in the Hague inder Soren von Ronne and his son Landstreicher, who celebrated huge successes under Toni Hassmann in numerous Grand Prix and Nation’s Cup competitions. The grandam state premium mare Ibiza presented two successful international show jumpers: Cooper (by Cor de la Bryere) ridden by Dirk Schroder and Mandarin 55 (by Magnat II) with Breido count Rantzau respectively, Jurgen Kraus.

Cardino absolved his stallion performance test in Medingen in 1997, where he received the score of 9.0 for his jumping ability. He made the finals of the 1999 federal championship of six year old show jumpers in Warendoft and has mean while had placements in advanced class show jumping.
Fifty percent of the foals from his first few batches of foals have been awarded premiums.

Carthago

His special ability was already obvious at the stallion performance test. He scored 9.5 for loose jumping and 10.0 for jumping ability in training - results that are not often achieved. Thanks to his remarkable jumping ability he entered the finals of the 1992 Federal Championships in Verden (ridden by B. Kristofferson). For many years he was ridden by Jos Lansink under the patronage of Gestiit Zangersheide/BEL and was successful in Grand Prix, Nations Cups and made it all the way up to Olympic Games. Despite the fact that Carthago Z was withdrawn from breeding in 2000 at the age of 13, he produced 26 approved sons and 22 State Premium Mares. The prize money won by his offspring amounted to over 1.6 million Euros in 2006. Today, progeny such as Uthago/H.H. Prince Faisal Al Shalan/KSA and Campus/Kamal Bahamdan/KSA, both participants at the WC 2006 in Aachen, as well as Cash/Marco Kutscher, Cim Christo/Katharina Offel/UKR and Bong Gak Sohn/COR, Charlottenhof s Classix Girl/Soren von Ronne, VDL Groep Spiga/Leopold van Asten/NED, Kira III/Ludo Philippaerts/BEL and Cool-Man/Holger Wulschner represent him on international courses.

Landgraf I

Landgraf I, was a prize-money millionaire and at the same time a legendary breeding stallion. He is today considered as the world's best jumper sire of all times. From todays point of view, the damsire, Landgraf I, is the most successful sire of show jumpers of all times. His best-known offspring include Taggi/Soren von Ronne, the licensed Libero H/Jos Lansink (1994 World Cup Champion), Leandra and Lucky Luke/Otto Becker, Lovely Boy/Norbert Koof, Lagretto/Carsten-Otto Nagel, Lassandro/Soren von Rb'nne, Landega/Helena Weinberg and many others, who have won over 4.4 million Euros up to now. Landgraf I sired more than 100 stallion sons.

Cor de La Bryere

One of the best dressage horses of his time Corlandus ridden by Marget Otto – Crepin European Champion 1997 winner of Silver medal Olympic games 1998 was Cor De La Bryere sired by out of a Dame by Landgraf.

Capitol I

His sire Capitano is the only stallion to maintain the sire line of Cottage Son xx until this day which is probably due to his excellent dam, the famous Retina by Ramzes. Ridden by F. Thiedemann she won e.g. the Hamburg Showjumping Derby. Capitol is a descendant of one of the best Holstein lines: His dam Folia is endowed with an enormous jumping ability and produced several approved stallions, i.e. Latus I and II, Cellebrio and Capitol II, as well as the state premium mares Kausa, Lektion (a successful eventer under I. Dehn) and U-Capitola, the dam of the approved stallion Lord Capitol. The grandam Vase (by Ramzes), who produced i.a. the approved stallions Grand Vikar and Montreal, was a full-sister to Romanus, a German top showjumper under H.G. Winkler between 1959 and 1965 (e.g. placed in the European Championships three times). Capitol is the sire of many international top showjumpers like e.g. Corso (W. Melliger, Switzerland), J.R. Number One (USA), Caruso Rex, Calle and Cincinatti (W. Peters), who is the dam of the young stallion Coriall. According to the breeding value rating by the FN he is one of the leading sires of showjumpers in Germany (162 index points). His daughter Cardinale was sold for 200,000 DM at the Holstein autumn sales in Neumiinster in 1991. His offsping also include: Carolus, Calato, Carthago, Campione and Cassini.

Dam Line

Joost

This preferent awarded Holstein stallion is one of the founders of Dutch Sport Horse breeding and was highly ranked on the index. He had many international offspring and several KWPN approved sons. His sire Consul was the sire of the world champion dressage horse Granat. Joost is most famous for crossing with Abgar (xx) to produce international showjumpers. He is Sire of international show jumpers Vip and Ommen, the grad sire of Balabouska ridden by (Jevoen Dubbeldam). These two horses were competing in the USA, Germany and the Netherlands. Joost is the Dam Sire of Ekstein, a Stallion currently in Great Britain (2005).

Consul

Consul, who was renown for his prolific versatile prepotency, was Trakehner of the year and elite stallion of his breed. He produced eight approved sons within the Trakehner breed. Apart from Celibidache moreover, he also presented the Hanoverian Consulan who is stationed in Switzerland. Consul's daughters are a safe bet as far as breeding is concerned, irrespective of whether it is in the own population or in the state breeding programmes. In 1999 federal championship finalists with Consul dams were lengths ahead in all the disciplines. The brand was not of any significance in this. Celibidache's proportion of thoroughbred blood lies at exactly 50 percent as Consul derives from the thoroughbred Swazi xx and the dam Venetia is likewise the daughter of a thoroughbred.

Landmeister

Landmeister has the valuable bloodline of Marlon xx and Roman and Ladykiller xx Cor de La Bryere one of the best dressage horses of his time Corlandus ridden by Marget Otto – Crepin European Champion 1997 winner of Silver medal Olympic games 1998 was Cor De La Bryere sired by out of a Dame by Landgraf.
