Competition Record: 1st in the stallion competition for five-year-olds in Hertogenbosch; 8th at the Dutch Championships for five-year-olds in Ermelo; Reserve Champion in the five-year-old jumper division in Lanaken; 1st in the jumper stallion final in Zwolle; 8th in the Zangersheide World Championships in the six-year-old division; 1st in the De Wolden Grand Prix, 2nd in the Nörten-Hardenberg Grand Prix, and 3rd in the Barcelona Grand Prix.

Out of the highly-esteemed Nini line (NL-mare line 018) which includes international show jumpers Ginus (Ulrich Kirchhoff), Kor II (Roelof Bril), Gicini (Gerfried Puck) and Nan (Ali Nilforushan).

Grosso Z

This name is synonymous today for a stallion that had a Europe-wide career. He won stallion performance test with the incredible points score of almost 150 points in Warendorf. In show jumping, Grosso Z successful up to intermediate class, whereupon he was systematically trained as a dressage horse. He has meanwhile won Prix St. Georges and Intermediate I as well as getting many placements. Grosso Z started off as a stud horse in the Rhineland and went on to an incomparable career as a stall Following an intermezzo of a few years in Hanover, he is covering in the Rhineland again today. Grosso Z is the sire of diverse champion foals, top auction horses and foals, successful federal championship contestants, numerous state premium mare and fourteen approved sons including i.a. Gullit, Griseldi, Gambit, Zorro Z and Goldfever, number one on the world rankings at the jumpers and winner of Aachen (Ludger Beerbaum). Whereas Gullit, Goldfever and Griseldi made the headlines as show jumpers, Zorro Z is internationally successful in the dressage arena for Spain. The most successful Grosso Z progeny also include Gloria, Georgy II, Grison Jütten, LBH Granata and Goethe 22/Heiner Schiergen. In 2000 caused a stir at the NRW auctions in Münster-Handorf with auction horses and foals. The riding stallion Gandhi cost DM 51,000 and a stallion contender was sold for DM 21,000. He passes on his superb show jumping and dressage talent to his off spring. For years now, he has ranged among the top of his generation with exceptionally high and strongly secured breeding values according to the FN breeding value rating. His sire Goliath Z was a successful international competition horse and is a half-brother of the magnificent Ahorn The dam Heureka who celebrated international successes with Hermann Schridde also gave birth to the mare Argentina I who in turn produced the super mare Ratina Z / Ludger Beerbaum and her approved full-brothers Rebel Z I, II and III. Grosso Z' s dam Füchsin Z presented a number of auction horses and together with Cor de la Bryere, the approved Cadence Z (private stallion Rhineland-Palatinate-Saar, Saxony). Her sire Furioso II became a world reformer in the Oldenburg breed. Lugano I and Welf in the earlier generations were incredibly strong performance transmitters.
