Bloodline
Description
Connell Quainton has a nice tight scopey jump and he is always eager to work and jump. Connell is an enthusiastic horse with bags of energy and he is keen to show off his moves to a crowd.
Connell Quainton boasts (in our opinion) five of the best bloodlines in world, with his dam line featuring Caletto I, II & III, out of the Mother Deka. Colman, Sire to Connell Quainton, is renowned for producing very good jumpers and he is a very promising young sire himself. Colman was the winner at the Stallion Performance Test in jumping in 1999 at Marbach.
Colman's Sire, Carthago Z was under the auspices of the Holstein Association for a number of years, before going into the services of the Dutch Nation Cup team with Jos Kansink, where he has had numerous successes.
Sire Line
Colman
Colman is known to produce very good jumpers and is a very promising young sire. He was placed first at the stallion performance test in jumping in 1999.
Colman's sire Carthago Z was under the auspices of the Holstein Association for a number of years, before going into the services of the Dutch Nation Cup riding team with Jos Kansink, where he has had one success after the other. The Dam-Sire Lord, the approval winner of his age-class, also covered in Wohrden for a few years, where Colman is currently stationed. Lord belongs to the siring legends of the Holstein breed and made breeding history way beyond the confines of Holstein and Germany. Numerous show jumping stars such as Livius 11/P. Luther, Lyra 20/H. Luther, Lord Incipit/T. Luther, Loyal 9/P. Nagel-Tornau, Lugana/St Lauber and many more attest to Lord's prepotency.
The thoroughbred Marlon, who was characterized by a decidedly versatile heredity, appears in the third generation of the pedigree. His progeny were victorious in all types of disciplines on an international level. Colman derives from the well known bloodline 223B, which also produced ten stallions; Camposanto (private stallion Bavaria), Grant I and II, Heimchen, Heini, Mirko and Oktavus (all Traventhal state stallions) in addition to Leon (private stallion Hesse).
Performance Record: Colman graded among the front of his age-class in show jumping (he scored 123.7 points, at the 1999 stallion performance test in Marbach). Colman has won and had high placements in elementary and intermediate show jumper tests.
Breeding Record: Colman has been covering in Wohrden since 2000, much to the enjoyment of show jumping breeders.
