Work Experience Placements
Quainton Stud are able to offer exciting work experience placements to students who are keen to gain an understanding of a hard working stud that specialises in elite sport horses. Lucky students will work alongside stud manager Vanessa Wright and they will experience general stable duties as well as working as a stud assistant - participating in foaling, vet work and Artificial Insemination procedures.

Groom/Stud Assistant
Quainton Stud are looking for a person to join the team in the general care of the horses as well as stud duties on this very professional yard. Duties will include general care of horses including ridden horses, stallions, mares and youngstock, stud duties in the stud season to include foaling, assisting with collecting and artificial insemination of mares and associated veterinary work.
The ideal applicant must have good horse handling skills, initiative and high standards.
The position is full time, with a good wage dependant on experience and accomodation provided.

Maintenance/Stud groom - POSITION FILLED
Quainton Stud are looking for a person to help with the general running of the stud. The ideal applicant will be proficient in using a wide variety of farm machinery, have basic experience with handling horses and be able to work on their own initiative.
The position is full-time and comes with a great package including accommodation.
