Abanos has the clear imprint of his sire, the erstwhile federal German dressage champion Alabaster. The already legendary, much praised Abglanz type finds its almost perfect fulfilment here. This is not surprising, since Abanos has a triple dosis of the East Prussian foundation sire pulsating in his veins. The more distant members of his chain of ancestry such as Futuro and Wohler however also exert a significant influence on Abanos's appearance. Both the grandam and great-grandam were successful advanced dressage horses. Thus we find a clear dressage weighting in Abanos's pedigree, which is rounded off perfectly by the Wohler son Wunsch II (i.a. the sire of Woyceck/H. Boldt). It is interesting to note the exquisite convergence of the very best of thoroughbred genes via Busoni xx, Waidmannsdank xx, Furioso xx, Valentino xx and above all, the tough as nails Poet xx. The damline originates from the vicinity of the traditional Hanoverian station of Isernhagen. Abanos's full- sister Ann-Karina was awarded the I-f premium in the 2000 diamond ring heat at the Oldenburg Elite Mare Show in Rastede.
The special qualities of this stallion are corroborated by his high ranking in the premium lot of the 1998 Oldenburg Stallion Days where he was awarded the I-c premium, which is equivalent to the second vice-champion of a strong circle of contenders for the premium. Abanos won a number of riding horse classes. In 1999, he became Oldenburg vice-champion in Rastede and ambassador of the Oldenburg Association at the Federal Championship in Warendorf. This was followed in the autumn of 2000, by his becoming runner-up at the stallion performance test in Neustadt/Dosse for the St. Ludwig stud farm. He proved to be extraordinarily versatile in the test and has meanwhile been highly successful in intermediate class dressage horse tests.
Abanos produced an outstanding batch of foals in his premiere as a sire, with top foals presented at the auction sites in Hesse, Bavaria and the Rhineland. He has moreover presented numerous winning foals and gold medal foals. Raphael, the third link in the chain of ancestry, is one of the most significant contemporary transmitters of performance. The threefold inbreeding to Ramiro and Cor de la Bryere in the earlier generations is remarkable. The dam line moreover brought forth the renown sires Agrigento (private stallion Oldenburg), Grandelstein (state stallion Neustadt/Dosse), Kadett (Celle state stallion), Noble Dancer (private stallion Oldenburg), President (Belgium) as well as the Bavarian state stallions Rivero I (South German Riding Horse champion) and Rivero II (approval and stallion performance test winner), who are both successful international dressage horses.

The mare Verona, whose sire is Calypso II, is an almost full-sister of Ribecka and Oruna. She has consequently been bred 100% identically. Verona produced the Celle state stallion Athletico (by Athlet Z). The damline is likewise represented by the stallions Fra Diavolo and Freemann (both by Frivol xx), Aktionar (by Ahorn Z), Lady's King (by Landadel) and Burggraaf (by Landgraf I) who is stationed in the Netherlands.
Following his successful stallion performance test, Acobat I became the shooting star of the new talent competitions in Schleswig-Holstein. Acodetto's dam, Louvre, has a first-class pedigree too. She also gave birth to the full brother Acodetto II, who was approved by the Springpferdezuchtverband Oldenburg International (OS) in 2006. Her sire, Contender, performance test winner in Adelheidsdorf in 1987, has had an exceptional career in breeding. He has sired more than 80 approved sons and is one of Germany's most sought-after Holsteiner stallions. Mated with Coronado, the granddam, Borana, also produced the S* level jumper Patschuli/Inga Czwalina. Borana is a full sister to the M/A jumper Candy J and to Loreana, who was initially ridden in competition sports by Achaz von Buchwald. Under Lars Nieberg, she won the Grand Prix of Vigo/ESP and also placed in the leading group at the Grand Prix events in Braunschweig, Dortmund, Bordeaux/FRA and Las Vegas/USA. The great granddam is no less than Rinnetou Z, one of the most successful jumpers of her generation under Piet Raymakers/NED. With the black Hanoverian stallions Winnetou and Wolfsburg, two first class jumper-makers in her pedigree, she's got a great pool of genes, especially since she's also the great granddaughter of the ,,wonder mare", Fairness (by Flussfischer-Despot-Alcantara II) ridden! Ramiro won Grand Prix' at international level in both speed competition show jumping as well as puissance jumping and was the second stallion after Alme Z to strongly influence not only European but also world wide horse breeding. Apart from more than 60 approved sons, Ramiro Z produced famous sports horses such as Fatinitza 6, Ramiros Girl, Ramzes 6, Ramira, Riva, the twofold federal championship winner Rosella G, Rinnetou Z and the multiple-success horse Ratina Z, whereby several stem from the combination Ramiro-Alme Z, which also exists with Acorado I in a slightly more diluted form. Acorado I stems from bloodline 776, which also gave rise to Ramiro Z. This line is one of the most significant lines in Holstein per se. His sire Acord II, a stallion performance test winner and federal vice-champion show jumper already attained Europe- wide fame at a relatively young age. His first few crops of foals resulted in numerous approved sons, including diverse champion stallions. Earlier on, his dam Doreen XIII had been mated with Acorado I, to produce Acorado II's older full-brother, who was the stallion performance test winner in Adelheidsdorf in 1997. In 1999 and 2000, Acorado I had wins in series in show jumper tests at elementary and intermediate levels, before competing successfully in the federal German show jumping championships in the same years. The damsire Corrado I had international successes under Franke Sloothaak in Nation's Cups and top level championships. Numerous Corrado I sons have thus far been approved and are actively performing stud duty in different German breeding regions. Corrado's progeny have established themselves well in the show jumping sport. Ramiro too made a name for himself on the international stage, both in speed show jumping and in puissance classes, winning Grand Prix' competitions. Apart from Alme Z, Ramiro was the second stallion to exert a substantial influence on horse breeding not only in Europe, but world-wide. In addition to the more than 60 approved sons, Ramiro presented famous competition sports horses such as Fatinitza 6, Ramiros Girl, Ramzes 6, Ramira, Riva, the twofold federal championship mare Rosella G, Rinnetou Z and the multiple success horse Ratina Z. A number of these derive from the combination Ramiro-Alme Z, which in a broader sense also applies to Acorado II. Acorado II stems from bloodline 776, which is the bloodline that also brought forth Ramiro himself. This lineage which is one of the most important and distinguished in Holstein per se, produced inter alia, the stallions Calvados I and II, Captain Incipit, Carlos DZ, Colorado, Comanche D, Cortino I and II, Explorer, Highvalley, Koriander, Landos, Lauritz I, Lipari, Lord Incipit, Lordanos, Los Alamos, Louis J, Lucky Mind, My Lord, Noble Boy, Rocco, Rossini, Rouletto, Schampain and Sirius Son as well as the international prime quality horse Tatjana 56/1. Five of Ahorn' s progeny qualified for the federal show jumping championship in Verden in 1992, with Acord II finishing as vice champion. His brother Acord I from Ahorn Z"s first crop of foals was an international show jumper in the Netherlands before being sold to the USA. Notwithstanding this, he presented some outstanding offspring in Germany from the short time that he was stationed in Bavaria. In 1996 the youngest full-brother Acord III was champion stallion in Brazil. Acord IPs dam state premium mare Ribecka was champion mare of her age-class in Holstein. She belongs to the bloodline of the probably most versatile Holstein sire of the post-war period via her sire Calypso I. The granddam Gerlis moreover produced the sire Chicago , whilst the grandam's sire is Lancaster, a stallion with a high proportion of thoroughbred blood (combination of Ladykiller xx and Ramzes), who was himself an active show jumper. The Marder son Mandarin in the fourth generation is out of an interesting dam line, as his dam Holle was also the grandam of Ramiro. Mandarin's daughter Urbine is also the dam of the approved stallion Freeman and granddam of the association owned successful show jumper and sire Aktionar, as well as the international show jumper and successful sire, the renown Burggraf who is stationed in Holland. The dam line furthermore produced the stallions Acobat 1,11 and III, Ladys King. Avero Bavaria Luchs. Catango Z, Charisma, Silverstone, as well as Athletico ( Celle state stallion).
Acord II convincingly won the stallion performance test in 1991 scoring 9.5 to 10.0 for show jumping a nd 9.0 to 9.67 for ride ability, and was the 1992 Holstein show jumping champion in Bad Segeberg and German vice-champion i n Verden in 1992. He was moreover the most successful five-year-old stallion in Germany with a tally of 21 wins. He continued his sporting career winning intermediate grade-A show jumping competitions and achieving placements in the advanced class.
Acord II is much frequented by breeders from all over Europe and has developed to a premium hereditary t ransmitter. Numerous approved sons resulted from his first few years at stud, including the champion stallions of the Hessian approvals and the ZfDP of 1996. He furthermore presented the champion two-year old mare in Holstein in 1995 and the best 3-year-old-mare in Holland in 1996. Fourteen of the thirteen placed six-year olds derived from Acord II, including the champion Atlantic (Ulrich Kirchhoff). He is thus quite justifiably one of the most sought after warmblood stallions of Europe, since he disposes over and transmits attributes that countless others can only dream about: nobility, ride ability and exceptional jumping values. His leaping and bounding progeny m ade Acord II the best sire of show jumpers according to the FN breeding value rating once again in the year 2000.
Acord II was frequented greatly by breeders from all over Europe and has developed to a real premium stallion. His initial covering years resulted in numerous approved sons, including Araconit, who is performing covering duty in Baden- Wurttemberg. Araconit won the 1996 Holstein State Riding Horse Championship in Bad Segeberg, became federal vice-c hampion in 1998 and sixth in the show jumping finals in Warendorf in 1999. His show jumping progeny once again made Acord II the best hereditary transmitter of show jumpers in the year 2000 according to the FN breeding value rating. The damsire Cor de la Bryere was one of the most important foundation sires of the Holstein breed following the Second World War. Apart from his indisputable qualities as a sire of competition sports horses, Cor de la Bryere established flourishing stallion dynasties. As this legendary stallion appears once more in the paternal line of his pedigree, the noble blood connection that has been well proven in Holstein has been secured for this valuable premium stallion. Rigoletto, the third link in the ancestral chain was most active in the Netherlands, where he advanced to an invaluable performance transmitter. His accomplished progeny include inter alia, Santa Monica/Hans-Heinrich Quellen and Santa Claus/Michael Fervers. He also presented outstanding offspring in the two years that he was at stud in Germany (1963 and 1971). His daughters appear in many performance bloodlines. Apart from Acord's Champion, bloodline 2004 also produced inter alia, the stallions Carnando, Cyrano, Ratibor,, Cromwell, Fahnrich, Lando, Lord's Highfly and Ariadus.
Acorath is a full-brother of the successful international show jumper Argentina 65 (Norbert Nuxoll resp. Otto Becker), who was the top lot of the Oldenburg auction in Vechta in the spring of 1991. Three further full-siblings Ammerlandstern J, Alexis Sorbas and Anyway 39 were or resp. are successful up to intermediate-A class. The sire Argentinus is considered as one of the wizards of international horse breeding. His progeny are successful at the highest levels in all categories of the equestrian sport. The dam Soraja is a full-sister of the sire Spitzbube (private stallion Hanover, Bavaria). There are heroes of Hanoverian performance horse breeding on the dam's side of the pedigree via the tough esteemed thoroughbred Sudan xx and the memorable multiple hereditary transmitter Grande, who had a decisive influence on Acorath. The dam line has its origins in the vicinity of the Hanoverian covering station of Achim and is based on the foundation mare Freilia (by Freiligrath-Alkali I et al). This line also produced inter alia, the stallions Baltengraf (private stallion South Africa), his half-brother Dunhill (private stallion Bavaria, international dressage successes), Joachim ( Celle state stallion) and Walzer (private stallion Westphalia).
Acorath absolved his 30 day test in Vechta in 2000 with significantly above average results. Following that, he completed his 70 day test in Neustadt/Dosse. His competition sports career is planned as of 2003.
Acorath's first batch of foals produced foals that were without exception awarded the foal premium.
His sire Herzzauber, who won the Trakehner approval and was tested in performance class I, initially spent a few year- performing covering duty at the Klosterhof Medingen before being sold to Canada. Apart from Adamello, he presented a further approved son, Guzzi. In the interim, Herzzauber was awarded the distinction of "elite stallion by the Trakehner Association" The dam Apolonia was mated with Jet Stream xx and gave birth to the advanced show jumper Aaron and other first class competition sports horses. She is moreover a half-sister of the Habicht son Avalon, who won advanced three-day eventing competitions. The relatively narrowly disseminated maternal bloodline of the mare Formosa 380 is a valuable line from private East Prussian horse breeding.
Adamello was vice-champion of the 1994 Trakehner approval. This was followed by his gaining third place in the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf in the autumn 1995. He has been trained up to advanced dressage level and was champion stallion of the 1997 British Warmblood Stallion Show.
Adamello performed covering duty at the Klosterhof Medingen as a leased stallion in 1995 and 1996 before changing over to Britain. His oldest progeny in Germany dispose over multi-facetted predisposition in sport.
His sire Argentinus, who excelled in the highest spheres of the show jumping sport, already proved himself as a versatile sire from an early age. He was awarded the I-a main premium in Oldenburg in 1984 and produced progeny with a double talent for competition sport and breeding. His approved sons Adlantus As FRH, Anchorman, Azorro and Asti Spumante excelled in the show jumping sport whilst his son August der Starke was an ace in the dressage sport. The competition sports horses Acajou M. Merschformann and Anka/M. Ehning are leading in international show jumping events, whilst Albano/H. Kemmer, Achill B. Werndl and Argala/M. Henschke are calling the shots in the international dressage arenas. The dam Allice absolved an excellent mare performance test. Her sire Exorbitant xx thrills unceasingly by his exceptional basic gaits, with accentuated walk and his first class character. Exorbitant xx presented numerous premiumed foals in the Trakehner breed as well as in Holstein and Hanover. Nine sons have been approved thus far including inter alia, Crambambuli/T. Edelmann, Edelstein, Eldino, Even Time, Exkurs, Exodus and Explorer (1997 stallion performance test winner in Munich-Riem). In 1996, Exorbitant xx presented a champion mare in the three-year old category of the Trakehner population. His progeny are successfully engaged in build up classes in competition sport up to the federal championship level. Ahorn Z in the third generation often proved to be a good basis for Exorbitant xx. Ahorn Z left the valued sires Acord I and II in Holstein. Apart from Adelante, Holstein bloodline 621 moreover also produced the stallion UNESCO (Holstein Association).
Adelante was approved on the occasion of the 12 th NRW main approval in Miinster-Handorf, where he enthralled the equestrian fraternity with his exceptional jumping ability.
His sire Argentinus who was a highly successful show jumper up to advanced class managed to distinguish himself from early on as a versatile hereditary transmitter of the very best quality. In 1984 he was the main premium champion stallion in Oldenburg. His progeny are to be seen wherever important events take place, at mare shows, stallion approvals, dressage and show jumping competitions as well as at federal championships. His most famous offspring include the approved Azarro / Holger Wulschner, Anka 61 / Marcus Ehning and Autogramm I / Thomas Miihlbauer on the course, as well as the erstwhile federal champion Amaretto 50 respectively, Aleppo S-OLD with Isabell Werth in the Grand Prix show jumping ring. The dam sire Lantaan began his career as a stallion in Sollwittfeld in 1985. He was briefly utilised in show jumping where he attained performance class I status and had successes in show jumper tests. Today he is one of the most versatile hereditary transmitters of Holstein according to the FN breeding value rating. Apart from the approvals winner Luck) Lionell, he presented four further approved sons of which foremost, Lagerfield was able to establish himself enduringly. His grandam Worldcup Fluppy, a splendid grey mare was an Amazon of a horse that was no stranger to show jumping successes. Two successfully combined transmitters of performance Watzmann-Pokal follow in the next generations (i.a. also in the case of the state stallions Willems As I and II in this constellation). The maternal line has East Friesian roots based on the mare Reni I (by Jason-Occo). This bloodline which is cultivated in both Hanover as well as Oldenburg, produced two mares that were awarded the state premium of the Oldenburg Association at the SchloBpark in Rastede in 1999.
Adlantus as was the winner of the loose jumping championship for horses of the Hanoverian Show jumping Programme of 1998. He absolved his stallion performance test with top scores and was successful in show jumper tests up to intermediate class. His first foals are impressive with good musculature, excellent type and powerful springy movements.
Cappeln 1973 to 1974, died as a result of blood poisoning in 1974.
Approved sons : Adagio, Admirand, Admirano, Adriano, Andrew and Armagnac.
After the memorable Celle saddle master Hermann Osterholz came to the branding at the stud farm of the breeder Heinrich Engelke in Wahnbergen in 1970, he informed the former state equerry Baron von Steglin that it would be futile for him to take a look at the Absatz colt branded there, in spite of all its quality, since it had one decisive fault: it was too coloured. This did not however bother Georg Vorwerk. He took the opportunity to travel to Wahnbergen on the occasion of a cattle auction and purchased the lively young stallion with the strong East Prussian heritage. Admiral I was a horse of unprecedented charisma. He began his unfortunately only brief career at the Oldenburg approval site. In 1972 he became champion young stallion and in 1974, he won the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf. This win, together with his outstanding first crop of foals gained him the la main premium. Only a little while later, after only two covering seasons at the Cappeln station, the stallion unfortunately died of blood poisoning. His progeny were excellent riding horses with a great deal of lustre and of good size. Many of his daughters received awards at Oldenburg mare shows. He presented six approved sons, who with the exception of Admirano all wore his chestnut coat. Adagio covered in Holstein, Admirano in the Rhineland and Adriano in Hanover, but none of them really had a chance. The Oldenburg pair of brothers Armagnac and Andrew were of particularly good class. The older brother passed away fairly early and left few progeny behind. Andrew who is aged 26 today, was an active competition sports horse for a long time. He was for all intents and purposes utilised for breeding too late, with too little continuity and poor management of his covering potential for him to be able to achieve anything spectacular in this respect. Admirand was the only one that had a chance. Great hopes had been placed in this chestnut who was bred highly interestingly on the maternal side of his pedigree via Lugano I, that he might be his sire's successor at the Vorwerk station. Yet ultimately, he was not able to fulfil these expectations. His progeny were oftentimes a little long and only a few penetrated into the higher spheres of sport. The one year younger full-brother of Admiral I, Admiral II was mainly applied as a competition sports stallion and inter alia, had a number of wins in the Hanoverian state championships. His easily surveyed progeny are highly qualified in advanced dressage sport. As regards the stallion performance test, the brothers Admiral I and II incidentally achieved a never repeated double victory when both of them won in Adelheidsdorf in 1973 respectively, 1974. Even today, Admiral I still has a top position in the FN breeding value rating for dressage, in spite of his few progeny.
His sire Acord II who was a stallion performance test winner and federal vice-champion show jumper already attained European-wide recognition at an early age. Nine approved sons resulted from his first few covering years, including the champion stallion of the Hessian stallion approvals and the ZfDP of 1996. For years now, he has been leading in the German National Equestrian Federation (FN) breeding value rating for show jumping. The dam sire Lavall I was likewise an international show jumper. The pedigree reveals some interesting inbreeding variations to the hereditary transmitters of type Calypso I and Landgraf I. Akribori represents the Holstein performance line 8888 which gave rise inter alia, to the Swiss Nation's Cup horse Lionel / Markus Mandli, who was a full-brother of great-grandam Navella, who herself was very successful under her competition name Lausanne with Bernd Mohr and Peter Luther. The earlier generations of the pedigree include the significant performance stallions Manometer xx and Nelson.
Akribori has won multiple riding horse tests. In the autumn of 2000, his sovereignty won the stallion performance test at the Zweibriicken state stud.
Akribori's first lot of foals produced numerous winning foals and gold medals. His progeny have enriched the auction sites of Bavaria, the Rhineland, in Oldenburg, as well as in Midden Beemester (The Netherlands) with top prices.
Aorn Z Is full brother to the dam of Ratina Z ( Ludger Beerbaum ) Heureka is the dam of Ahorn Z and the grand dam of Ratina Z.
His sire Anatas xx who was a successful race horse with own winnings of more than DM. 500,000, was initially utilised in thoroughbred breeding before being acquired by the Celle state stud, where he unfortunately perished shortly after the beginning of his first covering period. The grey dam-sire Pentathlon xx is frequently to be found in the pedigrees of performance horses. He presented inter alia, Don Pedro xx (private stallion Hanover) and Hohritt xx (Schwaiganger state stallion) for warm blood breeding. Fontanus xx in the third generation was a successful sire, first in thoroughbred breeding and then in Westphalian warm blood breeding. The earlier generations of the pedigree have significant hereditary transmitters of thoroughbred horse breeding such as Mangon xx and Ticino xx.
Alantas xx is one of the few thoroughbreds that absolved a stallion performance test. He asserted himself in the middle field in a test lot that apart from him, existed exclusively of warm blood horses.
The first progeny from his application in the Hanoverian breeding region turned out to be overwhelming!) successful dressage horses. The first Trakehner foals were born in 2002. stallion Rosentau, both have Noble Roi xx daughters as their dams.

In 2001 and 2002 he was a finalist in the Bundeschampionat (tenth and fourth place respectively) and in 2002 he also took fifth place at the World Championships for young dressage horses before leaving the breeding stage at a much too young age. Ave Austria is another of his licensed sons. The dam Chantal carries performance bloodlines through Heraldik xx, Alexis Z and Cor de la Bryere. In the following generations you find Fiirst Ferdinand, Wolfsburg, Duft I and Solarius xx, all outstanding stallions in Hanoverian breeding. Alassio's Boy comes from an extremely well proved mare family from the Hamburg area which is based on Madalind (by Mandat-Opal-Schmetterling xx, etc.). Various branches of this line have produced the sires Bocelli H (private stallion Hanover.), Dezent (State Stud Zweibrucken), Goldlowe (private stallion Oldenburg, SWE), Parcidor (private stallion NED) Ramonus Z (private stallion Zangersheide, Baden-Wurttemberg, internationally successful with Helena Weinberg), Savino (SWE) as well as Sandro's Bube, Sargon, Weltrang L and Wild Love (all private stallions in Bavaria).

In 2006 he crowned his career by winning the Southern German Championships in Nordlingen and also took the Vice Bundeschampion title in Warendorf. After a convincing performance in the qualification, he again demonstrated his extreme rideability and personal qualities in the outside rider test during the final where he received a score of 9.5 twice.
Gastello's pedigree already programmed him to a course of success: His sire Grannus was himself a champion advanced course competition horse who passed on his show jumping ability to his offspring countless times. His progeny are successful show jumpers around the globe. Particular attention must however be directed to Gastello's dam Atlanta 124, who was a champion advanced competition horse and was one of the most successful competition horses at Elmar Gundel' s stables over a number of years. She derives from the top sire of show jumpers Argwohn I, who procreated such splendid horses as Argot / Stefan Lauber and Aramis / Franke Sloothaak. Atlanta is a full-sister of the hereditary transmitter Atlantik (state stallion Warendorf and Schwaiganger). A further full-sister Ariane was mated with Weltmeyer and produced the stallion Weltrat (War endorf state stud), then, mated with Plato she bore the likewise approved Padre. The Hanoverian dam line of Gabelspiel (by Grunelius-Fangschuß) also produced the stallion Gratulant (Schwaiganger state stallion), his full-brother bearing the same name, the international show jumper Gratulant 2 / Gerd Wiltfang, as well as the stallions Graphitano (private stallion Hessia), Goya II (Switzerland) and Martell (Warendorf state stallion).

His offspring are successful in the show jumping sport up to M level. Askari soon occupied a top position in the breeding value statistics for stallions of his age class, receiving 151 index points. The dam, Athleta, also produced the stallion Caledo (by Calando I), who is at stud in Slovakia, and the sports horse Irish Beauty (by Corofino I). Athleta's daughter Luna-Luna H (by Lancer II) won jumping tests up to M level. The dam's sire, Fier de Lui Z, was the paternal half-brother of Cor de la Bryere. He came to Holstein on a leasehold basis for one covering season in 1985. In turn, Cor de la Bryere spent one season at the Zangersheide Stud. Fier de Lui Z used to be a well-known and influential sire. His approved sons Federsee (Schwaiganger State Stud, Bavarian Jumping Champion) and Fighter both became breeding stallions in Bavaria. About 30 of his daughters have been registered in the studbooks of various German breeding areas, among them the dams of the stallions Amadehus, Content de Lui, Laureatus, Schampain and the much sought-after Limbus. Fier de Lui Z also produced the dam of the international jumper VDL Groep Think Twice/Leopold van Asten/NED. The granddam, Uniform, placed in jumping up to M level. Her full brother Logger won S level competitions. Via the performance sires Lord and Rigoletto, the dam line leads into the widely disseminated Holsteiner line 474 a. This line produced sires such as Calato, Chagallo, Chequille, Cicero, Colombo, Loxgraf Go, N Aldato, Nimrod B, Quat and the internationally successful eventers Brilliante and Geliebte/Inkenjohannsen.
Acord II was strongly frequented by breeders from all over Europe and has meanwhile developed into a veritable premium stallion His first few covering years resulted in numerous approved sons, including Araconit who is covering in B aden- Wlirttemberg. Araconit won the Holstein State Riding Horse Championship in Bad Segeberg in 1996, became federal vice- champion in 1998 and sixth in the show jumping finals in Warendorf in 1999. Acord II offspring dominated the federal German show jumping championships of 1999. Acord II has moreover presented no less than 14 horses at the battle of show jumpers in Warendorf. Four of the thirteen placed horses in the six-year old category alone, derived from Acord II, including the champion Atlantic (Ulrich Kirchhoff). Acord II' s show jumping progeny brought him the title of the best producer of show jumpers for the nth time in the year 2000, according to the FN breeding value rating. The dam sire Cor de la Bryere was one of the most important foundation sires of Holstein breeding following the Second World War, who apart from his undeniable qualities as a procreator of show jumpers, established flourishing stallion dynasties. As he appears in the paternal side of the pedigree once more, the blood connection to this invaluable premium stallion that has been so well tried in Holstein is established once more. The grandam Wielen produced two further daughters, Elms (by Cobalt) and Hallig (by Fantus). both of whom likewise became dams of stallions. Elms was mated with Cor de la Bryere to produce the stallion Cinzano, who was an international show jumper and led the FN breeding value statistics of his age class a number of years. Hallig on the other hand, gave birth to Silvester, one of the most important procreators of show jumpers of his generation in Holstein. The mare Undine, a full-sister of Cinzano produced the popular stallion Lusello (by Lorentin I) for the Holstein Association.
Amantus absolved his stallion performance test in Warendorf in November 2000 in the forefront of his age-class.
Origin: Adlantus As won the loose jumping competition for horses of the Hanoverian Show Jumper Programme in 1998. He completed his stallion performance test with top marks and was successful in young jumper tests up to intermediate level. Lars Nieberg carefully trained him for the international sport and in 2000, they had their first big successes at renowned tournament sites. In the meantime, Adlantus As had wins and placings at the Grand Prix tests in s'Hertogenbosch/NED, Falsterbo/SWE, Donaueschingen, Aach and Barcelona/ESP, the Nations Cups of Hickstead/GBR and Barcelona/ESP and the World Cups of Berlin, London/GBR, Genf/SUI and Leipzig. At the World Equestrian Games in Jerez de la Frontera/ESP in 2002, he was a part of the German team that achieved place four. In 2004, he was a substitute horse at the Olympic Games in Athens/GRE. Several of his eldest offspring were qualified for the Bun-deschampionat contests. Three of his sons have made the 'leap' into breeding, namely Adlantico Ass, A Conto As and Amaris. The dam, C'est la Lune, was successful in jumping up to M/A level. She also produced the older full brother For the Moon (by For Pleasure), who has had successes in S* level tests. For the Moon is Amaris' loose-box neighbour at the Waldershausen Stud. The half-brother, Fillip B (by Faustus Fellini) had placings up to S' level jumping tests. The damsire, Coriolan, did very well in his performance test and later attained numerous successes in jumping up to the advanced class. Coriolan's offspring are mulitalented, and year after year, they have earned their sire a leading position in the FN breeding value ratings. His well-known offspring include the approved Coriander, who celebrated successes in dressage up to Grand Prix level, the first-rate jumper Corinessa/Cora Ackermann and the Bavarian stallion Coriograf B, who became Approval Champion and State Riding Horse Champion. Coriolan had a strong influence on Oldenburg breeding - his son Capriccio Italien was a top lot at the auction in Vechta. Under the name of II Capriccio, he is now at stud in Switzerland and is a much-coveted sire there. Coriolan's son Cordial Medoc became a top sire in Oldenburg. Coriolan's son Corlago won the Baden-Wurttemberg approval in 1997. Alme Z, who follows in the third generation, was successful in international show jumping with Francois Mathy/FRA and Johan Heins/NED. His best-known sons are, among many others, Galoubet, I Love You, Jalisco, Alexis Z, Athlet Z, Ahorn Z. The dam line is of French origin and is based on the mare Ondee d'Avril (byJuriste-Venoix). This line also brought forth the approved Quattro B son, Quinto (private stallion Rhineland, Hesse).
Performance record: Amaris completed the 30 day test in Miinster-Handorf in 2005, with high scores in jumping (9.0). He has won several tests for young show jumpers.
His sire Argentinus, a successful advanced class show jumper, managed to establish himself as a versatile hereditary transmitter of superb quality from an early age. His progeny are to be found everywhere, at mare shows, stallion approvals, in the dressage and show jumping sports and at federal championships. His best known offspring are i.a., Azarro/H. Wulschner, Autogramm 1/T. Miihlbauer and Adlantus As FRH / L. Nieberg on the show jumping course as well as Aleppo S-OLD and the former federal champion Amaretto (both with Isabell Werth) in the Grand Prix arena. The damsire Goldstern was one of the best Gotthard sons and presented inter alia, the Oldenburg approval winner Glorieux and numerous top show jumpers including i.a., Gipfelstiirmer / H. Hetzel. The grey horse Abraham injects another dose of Absatz blood into the pedigree. The great-grandam Anke II is a half-sister of the stallions Ramm (by Ramzes AA; private stallion Oldenburg) and Ulan (by Usurpator xx; private stallion Oldenburg, approval winner). The foundation mare Anke (by Burghard-Gograf-Gruson-Rheingold) was a successful advanced class show jumper. This bloodline moreover also produced the sire Ad Hoc (leased stallion Warendorf state stud).
Anchorman absolved his stallion performance test with an above average score in the jumping index in 2000. He won a number of show jumper classes at the elementary and intermediate levels in 2001 and came third in the federal German championship of five-year old show jumpers in Warendorf. He was moreover a placed competitor at the Federal Championship of 2002.
Amelsbiiren 1967 to 1982, put down in 1983
Approved sons :Angelo, Angriff, Anker, Anmarsch, Apart, Jurist and Angeli.
The handsomely shaped Angelo xx was of more than average size at a stick measure of 170 cm. and belonged to that category of thoroughbreds whose influence was frequently only apparent for one generation. He was oftentimes confronted by almost impossible tasks during his stud career as regards the mares that were brought to him. Angelo xx originally was a race horse with the reasonably high general equalisation handicap weight of 87 kilograms and began his second career in warm blood breeding in 1967 following his racing career. He had earlier been particularly honoured as the champion of the thoroughbred stallion show in Cologne. Amselsbiiren remained Angelo xx's one and only covering station during his 16 year covering period. His sire Oliveri xx was an Italian thoroughbred. The great-grandam Asterella xx is deemed to be the foundation mare of the family. The sires Aar xx (Warendorf state stallion), Aarking xx (private stallion Hanover and Denmark respectively, leased stallion Celle state stud) and Alex (Schwaiganger state stallion) are also close relatives. Herbert de Baey from Lemgo applied Angelo xx particularly successfully for many years. The mating combination of Angelo xx with the mare Dodona produced the Olympic horses Ahlerich 2/Dr. Reiner Klimke and his full-brother Amon/Annemarie Sanders-Keyzer. Their full-sisters Adone and Antine in turn became the breeding foundation for the multiple dressage champion Rembrandt and the stallion dynasties of Rubinstein I and II respectively, Royal Angelo I and II. The Angelo xx progeny were often said to be difficult. Riders that disposed over intuitive understanding however brought out the best in them, unlocking their predestination for the very highest of requirements in all disciplines. They were greatly sought after at the Westphalian elite auctions in Miinster-Handorf. Some of them were raised to become top class show jumpers in Switzerland. The offspring that put Angelo xx's name in the limelight in Germany include Angelino 6/Achim Tilger, Alvaro 8/Karsten Huck, Anamour 2/Rudolf Miiller and many more. Seven approved sons are vying to provide a broader basis for the paternal bloodline, three of them, the Warendorf stallions Anmarsch, Apart and Angriff, have become important for breeding. Anmarsch became inter alia, sire of the magnificent show jumper Anatol 30/Hendrik Snoek, whilst Apart can be found in numerous good performance bloodlines. Angelo xx covered in Belgium, Jurist in the Netherlands and Anker at the Zweibriicken state stud.
His sire Acord II, himself a stallion performance test winner and federal vice-champion was already frequented by breeders from all over Germany and abroad at a very young age. He is meanwhile drawing attention to himself at the federal championships, with highly successful progeny. The dam Arabesque derives from a very noble Hanoverian performance family. She is the full-sister of the 1982 World Cup winner Aramis/M. Deslauriers ( Canada) and moreover of the approved stallion and multiple advanced champion Amani as well as of the federal champion mare Arabella. The advanced show jumping mares Adelane and Anatevka 40 are likewise full-sisters of Arabesque. Anmut, a further representative of this successful dynasty, gave birth to the up and coming young sire Last Liberty (currently in Sweden), who had great sporting successes with Fritz Fervers. The grandam Elfenfee must be regarded as one of the most successful mares in the history of the Hanoverian horse on the basis of the almost legendary perfect match with the stallion Argentan I.
Antaeus was ranked third at the stallion performance test in Neustadt/Dosse in 1998, where he was awarded the maximal score of 10.0 respectively, for jumping, preparedness to perform and constitution. Antaeus was first applied in sport in 2000 and has had wins and high placements in show jumper tests in the elementary and intermediate classes under Markus Beerbaum. He also qualified for the federal German show jumping championships.
Antaeus has already presented a number of foals in the collections of the "elite auctions" in Verden.
His sire Argentinus who was himself a successful show jumper up to advanced level already excelled as a versatile hereditary transmitter of the highest degree early on in his career. He was the principal champion stallion in Oldenburg in 1984. His progeny are represented almost everywhere, at mare shows, stallion approvals, in dressage and show jumping competitions, as well as at federal championships. His best known progeny include inter alia the approved Azarro / Holger Wulschner and Autogramm 1 / Thomas Mühlbauer in the show jumping ring and the former federal champion Amaretto 50, respectively Aleppo S-OLD with Isabel Werth in the Grand Prix show jumping arena. His dam, the state premium and elite mare Journesse is a daughter of the show jumping millionaire Zeus, the sire of such effective show jumpers as Lonesome Dove and Czar (both Vechta auction horses under the respective names of Zarzuela and Zeitball) and numerous others. Zeus is a shining star in the firmament of great sires of show jumpers. In the third generation there is the unprecedented true to type thoroughbred Bucephalos xx who established himself as a sire of dressage horses of the very highest class Bucephalos xx shares his maternal bloodline with such well known hereditary transmitters as Daimyo xx, Don Giovanni xx and DschingisKhan xx. Aquilino's maternal bloodline also produced numerous competition horses and the accomplished hereditary transmitters Wanderfalk, Fredo (both private stallions Oldenburg) and Weltweit (private stallion Bavaria).
Aquilino was the glorious champion stallion of the stallion performance test at the Zweibriicken state stud, where he was supreme especially in the partial index of jumping. He demonstrated his proverbial double talent amply during the 2000 season, enjoying successes in show jumping up to intermediate A- class under Peter Weinberg and transforming three starts in dressage horse classes into wins under Martin Sander.
In 1998 Aquilino presented an excellent first crop of foals. His golden bay exterior is reproduced in the majority of his offspring who are of a particularly noble type and are convincing in their paces along the whole line. They are in great demand Germany-wide and Europe-wide. Aquilino presented numerous gold medal and winning foals at foal auctions in the Rhineland. Two of his sons received the sought after status "approved" at the N.R.W. approval in the year 2000.
His sire Aquilino was champion stallion of the stallion performance test at the Zweibriicken state stud, where he also sovereignly won the partial ride ability index. He demonstrated his proverbial double talent in sport impressively. During the 2000 season, he was successful in show jumper classes up to intermediate A-class. He furthermore, transformed four starts in dressage horse tests into four wins. His progeny overwhelmingly have his golden bay colouring and were sought after not only in Germany, but Europe-wide. Aquilino presented numerous gold medal foals and champion foals at foal shows in the Rhineland. The dam sire Voltaire was successful in international showjumping and is a veritable "Euro-Stallion", as he began his career from his base in the Netherlands through numerous warm blood breeds. Today, his offspring also bear the brands of many German breeding regions. The grandam Suzette was mated with Larome to produce the sire Lichterloh. The great-grandsire Neander is a Holsteiner, which clearly safeguards the showjumping component of the Dutch flavoured dam line.
Argentan Through Argentinus grand sire of Arco ( Nick Skelton )
Covering History :Bargstedt 1971 to 1996, passed away in 1996.
Approved sons :Acaro, Advocat, Advokat, Agent, Aircraft, Airport, AI Capone, Amani, Ansas, Aranjuez, Archipel, Argentano, Argentinus, Argrand I, Argrand II, Artos, Artwig, Aspirant and Atheist.
Argentan I covered at the Bargstedt station all his life and presented both top international competition sport horses as well as mares of the very highest quality. Argentan I, whose most famous stallion son is Argentinus, had the image of being a maker of mares without this minimising his capacity in sport, contrary to some stallions in Hanover's breeding history, who were designated as makers of mares, after it was recognised that in spite of manifold chances, they did not have what it took to succeed n sport. Argentan II, the younger grey coloured full-brother, embodies the Trakehner type of Lateran and only had few chances as a private stallion in Bavaria. Argentan I became the biggest disseminator of Absatz blood in contemporary breeding. He distinguished himself as a supplier of international show jumpers and inspiring show mares such as Arabella, Aragonia and Ascona. He moreover produced a total of 19 approved sons and 119 state premium mares. The mating of Argentan I with the Einglas daughter Elfenfee resulted in the rare transmission effect where everything is transmitted perfectly. Elfenfee became the dam of the approved stallion Amani, the Federal Championship mare Arabella and the World Cup show jumping champion Aramis/Mario Deslauriers, an achievement that has remained unequalled to this very day. Similar successes were attained in combination with daughters of Duden II. The most significant product of this combination is the top sire Argentinus, but other good horses also resulted from this combination of bloodlines, such as the approved Atheist, who managed in only two years at stud in East Friesland, to produce a series of useful sports horses, and the top quality horse Itschutschuna/Achaz von Buchwaldt. It is interesting to note, that both Atheist and Itschutschuna resulted from Argentan I' s first batch of foals. Argentan I' s following age classes however always also produced prime products. His offspring were not fixated to one special discipline. S ometimes they had a slightly overloaded neck, a characteristic that the progeny of his sons occasionally also display. In 1994, A rgentan I was declared Hanoverian stallion of the year. He has meanwhile reached the age of 29 years and is a good example of toughness and longevity. Even at his advanced age, a broken jaw healed without any problems.
His sire Argentan I, who was stationed at the Bargstedt covering station all his life, presented not only top international horses like Itschu Tschuna, Aramis etc. but also mares of the very highest quality from that same location. Argentan I had the image of "a maker of mares", without the sporting component being neglected in any way. In 1994, Argentan I was declared "stallion of the year" on the basis of his overriding hereditary transmission. The dam sire Duden II, an elegant chestnut, who reached the ripe old age of 30 years, always enjoyed great popularity as the producer of top grade performance horses and qualitative broodmares. The damline is based on the mare Adafella (by Allerhof III-Denhof), which produced inter alia, the approved riding stallion Amareno, the approval and stallion performance test winner Gachino, who i.a. became champion South German riding horse and is currently learning the higher orders of dressage under Ulla Salzgeber and furthermore, horses like Colombo des Roses (Luxemburg), Dublin W and Luchino (both private stallions Hesse).
Argentinus has done well in show jumping up to advanced class following his successful stallion performance test.
His sire Argentinus who was a successful advanced class show jumper already acquired a reputation as a versatile hereditary transmitter of the very highest quality at a young age. He was main premium champion stallion in Oldenburg in 1984. His progeny are represented in just about every conceivable sphere concerned with horse riding and breeding, whether it is at mare shows, stallion approvals, in dressage or show jumping, or at federal championships. His best known offspring include inter alia the approved Azarro / Holger Wulschner and Autogramm I / Thomas Miihlbauer on the show jumping course and the former federal champion Amaretto 50, respectively, Aleppo S-OLD both ridden by Isabell Werth in the Grand Prix dressage arena. The great names of Oldenburg horse breeding are arranged like a chain of pearls in his pedigree, including Grannus, Inschallah AA and Condor. The dam sire Grannus was champion on the advanced show jumping course and passed on his qualities as a show jumper innumerable times. His progeny are successful around the globe. Mated with Caprilli, his dam also gave birth to the premium Association mare Freestyle. Armitage represents the Oldenburg mare bloodline of Ballkrone. This line has many current highlights at the Vechta auctions as well as in the developments in the mare sector. The stallions Royal Star (private stallion Austria) and Wenz (private stallion Bavaria) also stem from this line.
Hiickeswagen 1979, Springe 1980, Huckeswagen 1981, Hamalschenburg 1982, Huckeswagen 1983 to 1987, Baljerdorf 1988, Heidenrod-Watzelhain 1989, AmselhofWalle 1990 to 1994,Lienen 1995 to 1996, passed away in 1996.
Approved sons: Elitar, Giorgio Armani, Ivernel, Karon, Korsakow, Louidor, Oxford, Partout, Polarpunkt, Praust, Wakond, Schwadroneur and Traumdeuter.
Arogno was a very true to type elegant stallion with a marvellous facial expression and very harmonious conformation. He was attested first class movement and fascinating values for character and temperament. The son of the equally highly reputed Flaneur is regarded as a foundation sire of type in post Second World War Trakehner breeding. Trakehner breeding of recent times would be more or less inconceivable without Arogno. He was vice-champion of the Trakehner approval in Neumunster in 1978, federal vice-champion in Mtinster in 1979 and best Trakehner of the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf. He was first utilised for covering duty at his home stud of Huckeswagen in the Bergisch Land in 1979. Irrespective of initial restricted breeding opportunities, he presented a total of 13 approved sons and a number of top mares for the Trakehner breed. He has also made his influence felt in diverse warmblood breeds since 1988, receiving a real chance at the AmselhofWalle. When the quality of his sperm declined due to old age, he was returned to his owner Ilka-Ilonka Wenzel, who had meanwhile moved from the Rhenish Huckeswagen to the Westphalian Lienen, where he spent another two years. His progeny are without exception known as extra-ordinarily true to type, with strong exterior points, good foundations and first rate criteria in terms of suppleness and rhythm of movement. His heredity often reveals the points of his thoroughbred dam Arcticonius xx. This Irish thoroughbred mare became a foundation mare within Trakehner breeding. Trakehner breeding has not infrequently benefited greatly from breeding successes with thoroughbred mares. Arcticonius xx produced three further Arogno brothers, Acajou, Avignon and Ayacoucho. A full-sister of these stallions moreover gave birth to the likewise approved Amatcho. Arogno's offspring are generally exceedingly rideable. Of the older stallion sons, Partout and Polarpunkt are considered to be especially valuable. The former is a successful international dressage horse. The daughters are popular as dams of stallions.
The stallion performance test winner and federal vice-champion Accord II was in heavy demand by breeders from all over the country and from neighbouring countries. Numerous approved sons resulted from the first few covering years including the champion stallions of the Hessian stallion approvals and the ZfDP 1996. Araconit who is at stud in Baden- Wiirttemberg, won the Holstein State Riding Horse Championship in Bad Segeberg in 1996 and became federal vice-champion i n 1998. Arpeggio's dam, the state premium mare Perle is a highly successful show jumper up to intermediate-A class. This mare with her strong paces received a score of 9.0 in free jumping in her field test. The damsire Power was also a successful Show jumper. Schoning, who followed after this, was the stallion performance test winner of his age-class. The maternal line flows into a Hanoverian dynasty in the region of the traditional Sudweyhe station, which is based on the mare Axtsilber (by Axtmann I-Spee II - Allwetter). This line also brought forth the hereditary transmitters Adjutant (private stallion Hanover, Bavaria ), Fidux (private stallion Westphalia), Assuan (private stallion East Friesland), Romeo (private stallion Baden- Wiirttemberg) and Ganymed (private stallion Rhineland).
Arpeggio was vice-champion of the 1997 NRW national approval in Miinster-Handorf.
The progeny from his first crops of foals are pleasing because of their conformation and nimble motions. A number of foals were presented at the N.R.W. foal auction.
Origin: The sire, Asti Spumante, has established himself as an outstanding sports and breeding stallion. Ridden by Thomas Miihlbauer, he has been constantly successful in jumping tests up to the advanced (S) level, Nations Cups and international Grand Prix events. In 2004, he became the Bavarian Champion, placed fifth at the Grand Prix in Donaueschingen and won the Grand Prix at the Munich Indoors. In 2005, he won, among other competitions, the Nations Cup in Hickstead/GBR. In 2006, he placed in Hanover, Affalterbach, Gera and Munich. Apart from that, he also won the Wiener Hallenderby (an indoors derby in Vienna) and came sixth at the German Championships in Miinster. Four of his sons have been approved for breeding thus far. The eldest of his progeny are successful up to S level jumping tests, e.g. Almero/Johannes Ehning. The dam, Dolce Vita, was in the Endring of the State Premium Show. She stems from the Westphalian jumper maker Pilot, who once became the youngest German sire to become a millionaire regarding his offspring's earnings. His currently best-known daughter is Isovlas Pialotta, who came fourth under Edwina Alexander/AUS at the World Championships in Aachen. The great-granddam, Kasonne, also produced the mare Grandisonne (by Grandioso), who was successful as a driving horse in the advanced class. The French-bred Anglo-Arab Matcho AA, who appears in the third generation, won the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf in 1992. The dam line is of Hanoverian origin, but via the mare Dublette (by Dunkel), it found its way to Bavaria, where a branch of this line was established at the Bavarian State Stud. This branch brought forth the Bavarian State Stud stallions Gallidos, Gamskar, Mattheis, Moralist as well as the successful dressage horse Attila/Uwe Mechlem, whilst the various Hanoverian branches of this historic line produced the Celle State Stud stallions Absatz, Fernruf and Winter (all Celle State Stud), Agha (Zweibriicken State Stud), Alfonso (Osnabruck State Stud), Enanco S, Lasso and Lauries World (all private stallions Hanover), Ovid (private stallion Oldenburg), Predix (private stallion Westphalia), Rosenzauber (private stallion Rhineland-Palatinate-Saar), Rubinstyle (private stallion DEN), Star (private stallion Rhineland), Wachtel- duced the stallion Flamberg (Holstein Verband, Argentina), Fiirst Calypso, Lehnbach (private stallion Sachsen) and Limmerick (private stallion Hesse, GBR). Performance record: Askari passed his stallion performance test in 2000 in Neustadt/Dosse where he won the partial index for jumping with the greatest of ease, taking third place overall in a group of strong competitors. In 2001 he won many novice (A) and elementary (L) level tests for young jumpers. His success continued in 2002 in elementary (L) and medium (M) classes. A particular highlight worth mentioning was his victory in the Schleswig-Holstein State Championships and his Reserve Champion status at the Bundeschampionat in the class for five-year old show jumpers. In 2004 he again qualified for the final in Warendorf. Askari has meanwhile won a series of advanced (S***) level tests for show jumpers.
Breeding record: In the beginning, Askari was leased to the State Stud Neustadt/Dosse in Brandenburg. In the year 2002 five of his foals were admitted to the joint Foal Championships held by the Berlin-Brandenburg and Sachsen-Anhalt Verbands and of these, four reached the Brillantring. One filly became Reserve Champion. His off-spring of age are attracting plenty of attention: along with five licensed sons in Holstein and Brandenburg there are also over 50 registered broodmares, including 16 State Premium mares. In show jumping they have been successful up to medium (M) level. In the FN's estimated breeding value statistics, Askari has taken a top position in his age group with an index of 151 points.
His sire Acord II, a stallion performance test winner and federal vice-champion, was strongly frequented by horse breeders nation-wide and in the regions bordering Germany whilst he was still quite a young horse. More than 30 approved son> resulted from the initial few covering years. The dam sire Aloube Z also derives from the foundation sire Alme Z, who can undoubtedly be regarded as the first "Euro stallion". Aloube Z was successful in international show jumping under Austrian patronage. The most successful hereditary transmitter of showjumpers of all times, Landgraf I and the strong performance horse, the thoroughbred Wanderfalk xx, who also sired outstanding dressage horses, round off the pedigree well. Ars Vivendi derives from the highly esteemed bloodline 18al, that goes back a long way in tradition. In more recent times, this lineage brought forth the stallions Baltimore (private stallion, Rhineland-Palatinate), Cadillac (private stallion Bavaria), Landjunge (private stallion Brandenburg), the invaluable Lucarlo (private stallion Hesse), who gained repute inter alia, as the dam sire of stallions such as Cartusch and Granulit, the international competition sports horse Romanow (private stallion Westphalia, Hesse. Belgium) and Romeo, as well as numerous pre-Second World War Traventhal state stallions.
Ars Vivendi was premium stallion of the 1995 NRW main approval in Miinster-Handorf and absolved his stallion performance test in Neustadt/Dosse in 1997, where he was awarded the maximum score of 10.0 for his jumping ability, coming second in the partial index for jumping. Ars Vivendi has won show jumper tests or had top placements at the novice, elementary and intermediate levels. In 1998 he qualified for the Federal German show jumping Championships. Then in 1999, ridden by Stephan Fischer, he won the Audi Show jumping Cup at the tournament of champions in Miinster. In the meantime, he has won and had high placements in advanced show jumper competitions.
Ars Vivendi has already presented three approved sons, namely, Ars Polandi (dam by Polydor), Aktion Pur (dam by Pilot) and Active (dam by Der Clou). His oldest progeny are beginning promising sports careers and have already won show jumper tests.
Acord II was greatly frequented by breeders throughout Europe and has meanwhile developed into a veritable premium stallion His first few covering years resulted in numerous approved sons, including Araconit who is at stud in Baden- Wurttemberg. Araconit won the Holstein State Riding Horse Championship in Bad Segeberg in 1996, became federal vice-champion in 1998 and sixth in the showjumping finals in Warendorf in 1999. Acord II offspring furthermore dominated the federal German showjumping championships in 1999. Acord II presented no fewer than 14 horses at the battle of show jumpers in Warendorf. Four of the placed horses in the six-year old category alone, derived from Acord II, including the champion Atlantic (Ulrich Kirchhoff). His showjumping progeny crowned Acord II to the best producer of show jumpers for the nth time in the year 2000 according to the FN breeding value rating. The damsire Ferrari II, just like Alme Z, who appears on the paternal side of the pedigree, was an Anglo-Norman and was stationed in Hessia as a private stallion. He had numerous showjumping wins at intermediate and advanced levels. The grandam, state premium mare Gote Grafin was a successful show jumper up to intermediate A-class, whilst the great-grandam Gotenfest was the full-sister of the successful international show jumper Goya 12, who initially celebrated international successes with Hartwig Steenken and later with Fritz Ligges. The jumping ability is guaranteed exceedingly well in the pedigree via the top hereditary transmitters Graphit and Gotthard, who literally caused the Hanigsen stud farm to become a veritable pilgrimage site during the 1970ies. The maternal bloodline has its origins at the former Celle state stud station of Isernhagen via the next generations of stallions including Wahlmann, Jonny, Fliegerkampf etc.
As di villagana absolved his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf in 1999, sovereignly winning the partial index for jumping. He substantiated the hopes and trust placed in him during his first participation in competition sport in the summer of 2000. Following series wins in show jumping tests at novice and elementary levels, where he was even awarded the maximum points score of 10.00, he also won the Hanoverian four-year old show jumping championship in the context of the Dobrock Competition.
Asculep's origins promise pure show jumping performance. His sire Acorado I was the winner of his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf in 1997. Following that, he won show jumper classes at the elementary and intermediate levels in series and took part in the Federal German Show jumping Championship. He moreover had a number of placements in advanced show jumping in both 2001 and 2002. He has thus far presented seven approved sons and his oldest progeny are beginning promising careers in competition sport with a distinct show jumping weighting.
