The Owners - Mr. And Mrs. Phillips

Mike and Emma Phillips have owned Quainton Stud since 2004 It is their dream and passion to help provide riders with the very best bred horses for world class competition and simple enjoyment alike. Mike and Emma have identified that a lack of world quality bloodlines and support for the British breeding programme has led to a decrease in the quality and quantity of world class horses available to Britain’s leading riders.

Mike and Emma work tirelessly to promote and encourage the best bred horses in Britain and as owners to Quainton Stud they are fantastic ambassadors for British Breeding around the world.

Events Manager - Sally Burton

Sally started her equine career as a working pupil for Showjumper Philip Spivey where she gained valuable experience of the competition world.

She produces and sells her own young horses and is currently campaigning her own Dame Brun in Newcomer and Foxhunter classes.

Sally joined Quainton Stud in May 2014 to help with the promotion and organisation, and has now taken over as manager.

Events Coordinator - Angelica Logan

Angelica has worked in many different aspects of the equestrian world, from grooming internationally to managing events.

She owns and breeds a small selection of quality young horses, and is a Level 2 (1*) British Show Jumping Judge.

Angelica worked with Quainton Stud on a freelance basis throughout 2015, and has joined the team full time in 2016.

Part Time Events Organiser - Chelsie Horne

Chelsie is a dressage rider from South Oxfordshire and competes her own mare Romanda in British Dressage competitions.
Having worked on different yards throughout her teenage years Chelsie has gained experience in both the competition world and the equine industry.
Chelsie has joined Quainton Stud part time whilst she completes her Foundation degree in Equine Entrepreneurship & Business Management.
